All Trails In Hobbs Park Now Open
Wednesday, August 12, 2009
All of the trails in Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area are now open after volunteers completed cleaning up debris from last winter's ice storm. The last trail to be cleared was the six-mile War Eagle Loop of the Hidden Diversity Multi-use Trail which features a scenic overlook of War Eagle Creek Valley. Hobbs offers four trails totaling 34 miles and park officials said it would not have been possible to open them this quickly without the help of many volunteers.
