Squads were required to arrive with a prepared "Home Pom" routine which they performed before judges, parents and other squads. All squads spent four days learning new cheers, builds and dance routines upon which they were judged. Four high school and four junior high squads were in attendance.

The Gravette squad was awarded the Superior Squad trophy and second place for their "Home Pom" routine. In addition the girls received many ribbons for their attitude and performance.
