GHS Class of 1964 Holds Reunion

GRAVETTE — Thirteen members of the GHS Class of 1964 enjoyed a 45-year reunion get-together Saturday night, August 8, at All-Star Pizza.

Class members and their spouses attending included Phyllis (Edgmon) Burnett, Kathy (Hart) and Lynn Duncan, Oliver and Mary Jo Duncan, Glenda (Galyean) Eldred, Susan (Douglas) Holland, Sandy (Parnham) and Bob Kelley, Marcia (Ward) and Jerry Pritchard, Max and Shirley Wallace, all of Gravette.

Attending from out of town were Darrell Coffee of Springdale; Donald and Nancy Payne, Herman and Liz Smith, all of Bentonville; Murel (Black) Collins of Pineville, MO; and John and Judy Sanders of Jay, FL.

The drop-in event was enjoyed by all as everyone visited and ate pizza, salad and sandwiches. Murel provided her delicious banana pudding as the finishing touch for the meal.

Ten members of the class, Fred Bunch, Phyllis Burnett, Murel Collins, Oliver Duncan, Glenda Eldred, Dickey Harris, Susan Holland, Sandy Kelley, Herman Smith and Max Wallace, rode in the Gravette Day parade, with Oliver providing the vehicle. Two classmates, Donald Payne and Beulah (Payne) Rice, rode on the Payne family float.
