— Those enjoying lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier on Sunday were Mike Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier, Amy Brooks, Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier, Lamarise Carrier, Trevor Blevins and myself.

Karen Burns and Bonnie Biven went shopping in Fayetteville on Friday.

Friday evening Robert and Geneva Hamilton met his brother and sister-in-law in Siloam Springs for dinner. As they were leaving the restaurant they met Sammy Kerr and his wife from Norman, OK, and Jimmy Kerr and wife from Olathe, KS, and old friends had a good visit in the parking lot.

Sunday after church Larry and Zena Weihe and Robert and Geneva Hamilton went to lunch to celebrate a late anniversary for the Hamiltons.

Saturday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton visited a friend in the Springdale Hospital.

Tony Rogers from Holiday Island visited with me briefly on Tuesday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Keith,Katie and Eli spent a few days in Springfield, MO, this week visiting with relatives, going to the zoo and Bass Pro Shop.

Sympathy is extended to the Phillips family. Nell grew up in Hiwasse and spent much of her life working in her Dad's store, the Hiwasse Produce.

Sympathy is extended to the Duncan family. Ivan grew up in the Mt. Pleasant area and attended school in Hiwasse.

I have been unable to learn who was involved in the two vehicle MVA on Hwy. 279 north of Hiwasse on Monday afternoon. Hopefully no one was seriously injured.

A crowd of family and friends gathered at the home of John and Julie Holloway on Saturday evening to help Julie celebrate her birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Carver and Jake had Sunday lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Lytle Carlton.
