Area 4-H'ers Take Honors At Recent State 4-H Orama

— Twenty-eight Benton County 4-Hers participated in the State 4-H Orama held recently on the UA campus in Fayetteville and many were recognized and received awards.

During the 2009 Awards of Excellence Banquet Chelsea House of ACE 4-H received the CA & Joy Vines $1,000 scholarship.

Among the 4-Hers who received $1,500 Arkansas 4-H journal scholarships were Margie Hoke of Maysville 4-H, Jordan Singleton, ACE 4-H, and Chelsea House, ACE 4-H.

Among scholarship winners, pictured above are Jordan Singleton, Casey Anglin, Sarah Connolly, Hillary Henson, Caleb Taylor and Chelsea House. Below are several state journal winners who earned a trip to National 4-H Congress in Atlanta in November: Lincoln Parker, Brent Dorn, Jim Tyler Jarvis, Jacy Alsup, Shane Lovell, Caitlin Taylor, Robbie Myers, Billy Myers and Dustin Dixon.

Christina Lovell of Maysville 4-H was named first place in Constructed Fashion Review.
