— There will be no polls open in Hiwasse for the upcoming school board election.

Maxine Holloway spent Saturday night and Sunday in Garfield helping her daughter Carolyn Taylor celebrate her birthday.

Those having lunch with me on Sunday were Ward and Paula Carrier, Gabe Carrier, Alyssa and Zack Allen, Brian and Diane Carrier, DaleLynn Carrier, Lamarise Carrier and Amy Brooks.

There was another onevehicle rollover accident on Hwy. 279 North on Thursday morning. One person was transported to the hospital.

We all enjoyed the nice rain and cooler weather this week.

Bonnie, Vickie and Karen would like to thank P.A. for the meal Tuesday night.

Lamarise Carrier spent Sunday afternoon visiting with Amy Brooks.

Perry and Vickie Hernandez have moved to Pea Ridge.

Leon and Peggy Bertschy had an old-fashioned after church dinner for all their family on Sunday. They were enjoying having their children and grandchildren with them.

It was good to see Gene Willmon able to be out and at church on Sunday.

Louis Presley is not doing so well. Let's keep him and Maxine in our prayers.
