BENTON COUNTY — Miss Benton County
The Miss Benton County Fair Pageant will be held on the opening night of the fair - at 7 p.m. Sept. 15 in the Benton County Fair Auditorium.
The pageant is open to 2009-2010 enrolled high school senior girls (or homesschooled seniors). Each contestant must be a resident of Benton County. Entry forms must be turned in by Sept. 1 for contestants to be eligible to compete in the Benton County Fair Pageant.

The Benton County Fair Pageant is now accepting entry fees for contestants. The pageant will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 15 for ages 10 and up.
New this year are the age groups for 0 to 9 years, to be held Sept. 19 at the fair. Ages 0 to 3 years will compete at 4 p.m. and ages 4 to 9 years willcompete at 6 p.m. and will be held in conjunction with the Benton County Fair Youth Talent Show. Pageant entry forms must be turned in by Sept. 1 and are only available online at www.heartoftheozarks. weebly.com or www.bentoncountyfairar.org. Contestants must be residents of Benton County. Photo Contest
This contest is for entrants 0 to 18 years old. They do not have to be contestants in the pageants or the talent show to compete. Age divisions are 0-3, 4-9, 10-14 and 15-18 years.
Photo requirements: Photos must be no larger than 8 inches by 10 inches and no smaller than 5 inches by 7 inches. Photos must be submitted in a page protector, photos must have been taken in 2009 and photos must be in color. Photos must be limited to the head and shoulders; no full-length photos will be accepted. No professional photos will be accepted - amateur photos only.
Fresh New Face winners willbe announced Sept. 19 at the Fairgrounds Auditorium.
Photos and a $10 entry fee need to be mailed to Fresh New Face Photo Contest, Attn.: Kena Wachholtz, 2504 Linebarger Lane, Bentonville, AR 72712. All entries must be postmarked by Sept. 1, with checks made payable to the Benton County Fair.

Youth Talent Contest
The contest will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Fairgrounds Auditorium. Entry forms are due Aug. 29.
Contestants must be 10 to 20 years of age and residents of Benton County.
All contestants must preregister on an entry form. A nonrefundable entry fee of $15 for solo performers or $30 for groups must be included with the entry form. Acts are limited to three minutes.
