Calf Demonstrations Will Be Held For Beef Cattlemen

— Beef cattlemen are advised live calf demonstrations will be held at the River Valley Beef Cattle Conference scheduled February 16 at the I-40 Livestock Auction in Ozark, AR.

The conference is aneducational effort sponsored by the UA Division of Agriculture and Farm Credit Services of Western Arkansas.

Demonstrations will help cattlemen learn factors that influence the calf’s market value, an outlook of marketconditions, programs for animal identification and other topics of interest.

There is a registration fee of $20 which will be collected at the door. For info contact the County Extension Service office in Bentonville.

Cabin Expert Will Present Program At Bentonville This Friday

An architect, who has designed scores of cabins, will share information on cabins at an informal reading Friday, December 4, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Crystal Bridges temporary gallery space, 125 W. Central in Bentonville.

Dale Mulfinger will discuss his current book, “Cabinology: A Handbook to Your Private Hideaway”. He is author of several other award winning books.

The drop-in program is free to persons interested. It is part of the museum’s Books & Biscotti lecture series.
