— Robert Paul and Amanda Hamilton and children spent Thanksgiving in Ada, OK, with her family.

Those having Thanksgiving dinner with me were Ward, Paula, Mike, Gabe, Brian, Diane, Lofty, Dale-Lynn and Lamarise Carrier, Tom and Amy Brooks, Mary Lynn, Adam and Alec Hensley.

Part of Leon Carothers’ children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren gathered at his house for Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday evening.

Lofty and DaleLynn Carrier received a Thanksgiving call from their son, Skylar, who is stationed on Okinawa.

The Keith family went to Little Flock and had Thanksgiving dinner with their daughter Sally.

Billy Habermehl is in Little Rock this week having some tests run at the V.A. Hospital.

W. T. and Connie Rial and two granddaughters from Mississippi and VickieStern and daughters Keli and Angela from California spent the holiday with relatives here.

On Friday W. T., Connie and Vickie visited with Ruby Hight.

Johnny Hight from Missouri and Gene Roberts from Centerton had dinner with their mother, Ruby Hight, on Thursday.

John and Judy Sandlin’s daughter Jeannette and son from Kansas City spent Thanksgiving with them.

Ward, Lofty, Brian and Diane Carrier had lunch with me on Sunday.

Ron and Karen Burns, Ralph and Barbara Horton from Conway had Thanksgiving lunch with their brother, Johnny and Gina Horton and Lexie.

Sunday afternoon the temperature was dropping fast but then by the time you read this it will be December.

December 2, 1982, Barney Clark received the first permanent artificial heart.
