GRAVETTE — Dear Editor,

The Gravette Church of Christ would like to thank all who helped to make the first annual community Thanksgiving dinner a great success. Beacon Baptist, First Christian and Harvest Baptist all contributed greatly in different ways! Almost 300 people were served a meal of turkey, dressing, potatoes, vegetables and dessert.

Bob Kirkley, minister ofthe Church of Christ, said that a joyful, hard working crew of over 50 people was on hand on all day last Saturday, November 21. There were many people who were involved but could not be present during the dinner.

Plans are already under way for next year’s dinner scheduled for November 20, 2010. Mark your calendar and join us for dinner!
