— The Little Debbie No. 47 JTG/Daugherty Racing Toyota Camry made a special appearance at the Little Debbie Bakery Store in Gentry. Many may have seen it on the track with Marcos Ambrose at the wheel, but on Monday Bakery Store customers and visitors had the opportunity to see it up close.

During the event, there were free digital photos of visitors and the car, free Marcos Ambrose hero cards and samples of Little Debbie and Sunbelt brand products. Visitors also got to hear the roar of the engine from the Little Debbie No. 47 car every 20 minutes.

The car, owned by Tod and Jodi Geschickler and Brad Daugherty, was raced in past NASCAR competition but now, due to more advanced technology in race cars, is retired to being a show piece, according to Chip Warren, who takes the car and shows it around the country.

“The car gives people a good idea of what the racing cars are like,” Warren said. “And it helpspromote Little Debbie. They’ve sponsored us and we want to do all we can to help and promote them,” Warren added.

The car was on display at the Little Debbie outlet store from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and many were stopping for a closer look and to have their photos taken with the car.

McKee Foods and its Little Debbie snacks are a primary sponsor for the car raced by the JTG/ Daugherty Racing team.
