JBU recognizes Advance Program students

— The following students have been named to John Brown University’s President’s and Dean’s List of distinguished students from the Advance Degree Completion Program. Each student is a member of the Northwest Advance Program cohort group number 06 working toward a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.

President’s List: Vicki Holloway, Gravette; Kimberly Stewart, Fayetteville.

Dean’s List: Tasha Brown, Bella Vista; Dorie DeZurik, Lasea Ellis, Gentry; Bartley Herring, Ryan Paskiewicz, Caleb Schultz, Siloam Springs; Terri Mitchell, Lincoln; Cassie Reid, Mark Stewart, Fayetteville.

The Advance Program is a degree completion program that allows students to complete their bachelor’s degree by attending classes one night a week. Classes are designed for working adults 23 years of age or older who have at least twoyears of prior college credit and relevant work experience.

The students progress through their studies as a group, taking courses in an established sequence.
