Maysville News

— We are having beautiful weather. Hope it continues for a while.

The reason there was no Maysville News last week is that no one gave me any. I have calls wondering why there is no news. You have to get news to me.

Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, week before last on Thursday. They always enjoy her coming over.

Virginia ( Tucker) Rowland of Bentonville visited me on Wednesday of this week. She was looking for a certain picture of the Tucker family. I had it so she took it to do some history on it and have pictures made off it. We had a good visit. I always enjoy her coming by.

Sammie Sappington of Fayetteville visited her grandparents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, one day last week. She hadn’t been over for a while so they were glad she came.

Marcia Pritchard and Tyler visited Jewel Lukens on Thursday evening. They had a good visit.

Katie Martin and Katelynn were by for a while on Saturday. They were looking for some things to dress up in for their Halloween party. They got all dressed up for it. Tracy Warren and Skyler were with them. They all had their costumes on. They looked nice.

Patti King came over on Friday to see Jack and Sylvia Tucker, then she went to visit Ronnie and Debbie Sims. She spent Friday and Saturday nights with them and attended a hot dog and marshmallow roast at Jacob and Shelley Bishop’s Saturday evening.

A group from the Grace Meadows Church enjoyed a cookout party Saturday evening at the community center.

Shelley Bishop visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker for a while on Saturday. It had been a while since she had visited them. Everyone seems to be busy.

I didn’t have as many trick or treaters as I usually have. They were all very nice and polite. I enjoy them coming.
