Reception To Honor Darline Galyean On Ninetieth Birthday

— A reception in honor of Darline Poe Galyean of Hiwasse, celebrating her ninetieth birthday, will be held Saturday, November 14, at the Hiwasse Christian Church Fellowship Hall.

Mrs. Galyean grew up in the Garfield/Pea Ridge area but has lived most of her life in the Hiwasse community.

Friends and family are invited to drop in between the hours of two and four in the afternoon.

Mrs. Galyean’s children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, who are hosting the reception, request that gifts be omitted but that cards and your presence will be appreciated.

Henry - Noel Announce Engagement And Plans For Approaching Wedding

Announcement is made of the engagement and approaching marriage of Angela Henry of Sulphur Springs to Adrian Noel of Fayetteville.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Steve and Tina Henry of Sulphur Springs. Her grandparents are Paul and Sandra Henry of Greenville, MS, Jimmy Chunn of Beulah, MS, and Janice Chunn of Sulphur Springs.

She attends Northwest Arkansas Community College, working toward an associate degree. She is employed as an analyst at REW Marketing.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Ronnie and Barbara Noel of Fayetteville. Her grandparents are Ray and Charline Sherman of Fayetteville, Homer and Jane Skaggs of Springdale and Phillis Pegram of Springdale and the late Wendell Pegram.

He is a student at NWACC working toward an associate degree. He is employed as a financial service representative for Arvest Bank at Rogers.

The wedding will be an event of two o’clock in the afternoon, Saturday, November 21, at Simple Pleasures in Bella Vista.

Jeremy Shorter Is Summa Cum Laude Grad At Collins College

Jeremy Shorter, pictured here with his mother Sally Shorter of Gravette, graduated October 17 from Collins College, a division of Arizona State University in Phoenix, Arizona.

The 1994 graduate of Gravette High School was valedictorian of his 56-member class. A summa cum Laude graduate, his degree is Associate of Arts, Digital Media Production.

Shorter is author of several books and has completed several CD of his own compositions.

His parents are Ralph and Sally Shorter of Gravette.
