Thespians To Present Alice In Wonderland

— A cast of 19 players will present Lewis Carroll’s family classic “Alice in Wonderland” this weekend, November 7 and 8, at the Gravette High School Performing Arts Center.

“The Gravette High School Drama Fools” cast, under the direction of Ian Galloway, will present the performances at 7 p.m. Saturday, November 7, and a matinee Sunday, November 8, at 2 p.m.

The production stars Shelby Goff as Aliceand Juliana Wolling and Cheyenne Bright as her tutors.

Citizens of Wonderland cast members are Kaitlyn Albright, Joshua Chapman, Brittany De-Witt, Sabrina Hernandez, Miranda Hosp, Victoria House, Christina Lovell, Josh Mallett, Danielle McKnight, Kyle McNamara, Amber Northcott, Austin Picard, Kristyn Saunders, Shawn Thompson, Miranda Wesley and Blake White.

Ian Galloway, who is cowriter of the script, said, “After letting her anger take control of her actions in the real world, Alice’s temper (in the form of the Queen of Hearts) takes control of the Wonderland of her subconscious. Alice must now travel to Wonderland and, with the help of its citizens, learn to grow up and in the process save Wonderland from the Queen’s reign of terror.”

Tickets are available at the door, $5 for adults and $3 for students.
