Christian Church Announces Plans For Cookie Walk December 6

— Ladies of the First Christian Church in Gravette will hold their first Cookie Walk Sunday afternoon, December 6, starting at 12:30 p.m. in the churchfellowship hall.

Persons will receive a two pound holiday-decorated container which they can fill from an array of homemade holiday cookies. Thecost is just $10.

“The walk will end at 3 p.m. but when the cookies are gone we will close, so come early for a good selection,” the ladies said.

Veteran’s Recognition Friday At Bella Vista

In recognition of Veteran’s Day, the College of the Crossing’s November Brown Bag Seminar will celebrate the veterans living in Bella Vista and N.W. Arkansas.

The event, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, November 13, will be held at Highlands Crossing Center, 1801 Forrest Hills Blvd.

Richard Hoback, coordinator for Benton County Veterans Services, will be special speaker. His talk will be about services available to vets. Persons should bring their own “brown bag” lunch. Coffee and water will be furnished.
