Meet the Bulldogs Night:

DECATUR — A Meet the Bulldogs Night, to introduce the 2009-2010 Decatur basketball teams starting with seventh grade, followed by the junior and senior high team, is set for 6:30 p.m., Nov. 13.

The teams will be showing off the drills they have worked on since the beginning of the year followed by a 15-minute scrimmage.

There will also be a pie auction to raisemoney for the players for practice gear, camps and shoes.

Admission to Meet the Bulldogs Night will be a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Decatur Food Bank.

“This is a community service project the teams voted on and it’s a great way to give back to the community,” coach Donny Smith said.

Smith said he hopes the evening will build some awareness about Decatur’s basketball program and get the community more involved.
