Thanksgiving Dinner At Maysville This Saturday Evening

— Residents of Maysville and the area will celebrate Thanksgiving with a community-wide Thanksgiving dinner this Saturday evening, November 21, at the Maysville Community Building.

Serving of the meal will start at 6 p.m. and everyone in the community is invited to enjoy the food and fellowship, according to the Maysville Extension Homemakers Club.

The club prepares ham, turkey, dressing and mashed potatoes and also furnishes bread and the drinks for the celebration.

Everyone attending is asked to bring a side dish of choice, such as a vegetable, salad and/or dessert.

This is an annual event at Maysville which draws the community and surrounding area together in the spirit of Thanksgiving. Everyone is welcome.

Sulphur Springs Baptist Will Host Food Pantry This Saturday Morning

First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs will host a food pantry Saturday, November 21, from 10 a.m. until noon at the church located at the corner of Duff and Patterson.

“Sacks of canned and drygoods will be given away to bless you and your families this holiday season,” said Pastor Gairy Osburn.

“The open pantry will also be available coming in December,” the pastor added.

Thanksgiving Program Sunday At Maysville Missionary Baptist

Maysville Missionary Baptist Church will present a Thanksgiving program Sunday evening, November 22, at the church located north of Maysville.

The program will begin at 6 p.m. and a meal will follow.

“Everyone is welcome,” said Raymond Scott, pastor. “Bring a covered dish if you wish.”
