— Warm October, cold February.

Former Hiwasse resident Clemmie McMillan was buried at Mt. Pleasant on Saturday. Sympathy is extended to her family.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Henry and Maxine Holloway went to Bella Vista on Thursday evening and had supper with Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier, Lamarise and Skylar.

Sympathy is extended to the Harris family. They lived in Hiwasse when Larry was a boy.

Louis Presley is reported much improved. He hoped to be dismissed from the hospital on Monday.

Rick Banks was to have had eye surgery on Monday.

Those enjoying lunch with Mr. and Mrs. LoftyCarrier, Lamarise and Skylar on Sunday were Mr.

and Mrs. Ward Carrier, Mr.

and Mrs. Brian Carrier and myself.

Attendance seemed to be down in all the churches on Sunday. Hope the sick quickly improve.

Robert, Robert Paul and Beau Hamilton have returned home after a successful antelope hunt to Newcastle, WY. They met friends in Kansas City and enjoyed a sightseeing tour through the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore. They battled 50 mph winds in Wyoming.

October 7, 1988, a morning low of 28° F. in Rockford, IL, set a record there and fog in other locations reduced visibility to near zero.
