GRAVETTE — Maysville E. H. Club will hold a fund raiser Saturday, October 17, at the Maysville Community Building.

Featured will be a bean supper and a cake walk.

Homemade pies will also be for sale.

All proceeds will be used to help with the upkeep on the community building which is used for reunions, birthday parties, weddings and other community activities.

The beans and cornbread meal will also include coleslaw and a drink. There is no charge but all donations will be accepted. The cake walk will cost 25 cents each time you participate.

There will be no pie auction but “come and buy your pie for Sunday dinner,” ladies of the club said.

“The community building means a lot to Maysville, so mark your calendar, attend and support its upkeep,” they added.
