GRAVETTE — Miss Gravette 2009, Makayla Morrison, is shown with a group of fourth graders in Kathy Spiers’ class at Gravette Upper Elementary School.

Morrison was visiting the children, encouraging them to practice recycling and to help promote using the recycling trailer that is parked adjacent Centennial Park the first and third Saturday of each month.

Students asked questions, told of their knowledge of recycling and its importance and several showed posters promoting recycling.
