Remember City Clean-up Day Is Next Tuesday

— Gravette residents are reminded that next Tuesday, October 13, is the annual City-Wide Fall Clean-up for the convenience of disposing of items not normally picked up.

This includes old furniture, other large items, etc., including refrigerators and other appliances containing freon IF the freon is removed. If that chemical is not removed the item will not be picked up.

Persons are asked to place items curbside early next Tuesday. Special Roll-Off crews will be picking up the items. The regular Tuesday trash pickup will also be held..

There is no charge for the clean-up service, which is part of the city’s contract with Roll-Off.

According to Randy Pounders, general manager of Roll-Off Service, the following items WILL NOT be picked up:

• Tires

• No free-flowing materials such as paint, oil, etc.

• No hazardous materials

• Nothing with freon in it, such as refrigerators. If the freon is removed we will accept it.

• No construction or demolition debris.

• No televisions or computer monitors

If you are unsure about items call Gravette City Hall, 787-5757.
