— Davis-Mackey to wed Saturday

Pamela Kay Mackey of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Matthew Rogers Davis of Decatur, Ark., have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Pamela is the daughter of Roger and Kelly Mackey of Colcord, Okla. She is the granddaughter of Gary and Dee Daugherty of Westville, Okla., and Henry Mackey of Siloam Springs. She is employed at the Decatur General Store in Decatur.

Matthew is the father of Colton Davis of Decatur and Robin Davis of Decatur. He is the son of Virginia Davis of Decatur, and of Debbie Davis of Hot Springs, Ark., and the late Owen Davis. He is the grandson of the late Arlis and Betty Ammons and the late Owen Davis, Sr., and Paul and Irene Cagle. He is employed at McKee Foods in Gentry.

The couple plans to wed at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Olde Town Park in Gravette, Ark. Friends and family are invited to attend the ceremony and a reception to follow at the Decatur Community Room. Bill and Grace Davidson Davis of Siloam Springs will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 17.

The couple are both originally from Siloam Springs and were married on Oct. 17, 1949. They have six children, Ronnie Davis, Roger Davis, Linda DeMoss, Karen Sisney, and Sandy Dyer, all of Siloam Springs, and Rodney Davis of Colcord, Okla. The couple also has 17 grandchildren, one deceased, one step-grandchild, 15 greatgrandchildren, and 5 stepgreat-grandchildren.
