GRAVETTE — A large group of friends and family gathered at the Bertschy home last Sunday to help Leon celebrate his birthday.
I went to Bella Vista on Tuesday night and had supper with my grandson Skylar Carrier.
Skylar Carrier flew out of XNA on Wednesday for Seattle where he met up with the rest of his troop bound for Okinawa. Word has been received that they arrived there safely.
We’ve had a taste of winter this week but our area has still been lucky compared to some parts of the state. The electricity was only off for a couple of hours on Thursday evening.
