Heritage House Will Be Held This Week At The Heritage Baptist Church

— Heritage Baptist Church in Gravette will present “Forever House” Thursday, October 22, and Saturday, October 24, between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m. and invites the public to a free viewing.

The play stars Nick Hendren, Kaitlynn Britton, Rachel Gibson, Tiffany Bradley, Adam Vore and Kelly Britton and groups will go through every 15 minutes.

“Forever House” is the story of different characters at the end of their lives as they approach the Pearly Gates to get a glimpse into their own eternity. The journey continues through Heaven or Hell. Following the tour refreshments will be served.

Thirty-five members of the church are involved in the production directed by Tammy Hendren. This is the third year the production has served as ministry of the church, said Rev. Patrick Beasley, interim pastor.

Heavenly Harvest Scheduled At Heritage Baptist

Heritage Baptist Church in Gravette will sponsor “Heavenly Harvest” at the church located at 307 Fourth Avenue S.E. The event will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. October 31.

There will be games, candy and refreshments and all children up to age 12 are invited.

Gleamers 4-H Club Sponsors Haunted House

Gravette Gleamers 4-H Club will sponsor a Haunted House off Galyean Stable Road located between Hiwasse and Bentonville. Watch for signs. Admission is $5 per person and concessions will be available.

The house will be open October 22 from 7:30 to 10 p.m., October 23-24 from 7:30 to 12:30 a.m., October 29 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. and October 30 from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Jolly Good Time Club Will Meet Wednesday, October 28

The monthly meeting of the Jolly Good Times Club will be held Wednesday, October 28, at the Billy V. Hall Senior Activity Center. The meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. in the computer room at the Center.

Mary Griffin will give the program for the October meeting. The potluck meal will feature stew by Betty, cornbread by Eda, veggies by Jeanne, salads by Chia and Mary and dessert by Susan.

J. G. T. is a social and service club organized in 1928. Anyone interested is invited to attend. New members and guests are always welcome.

Methodists Will Sponsor Trunk Or Treat Halloween Evening

Gravette United Methodist Church announces they will sponsor their “Trunk or Treat” on Saturday, October 31. The activity is free to provide a safe “Trick or Treat” experience for area children.

Parents are invited to bring their children to the church parking lot, east of the sanctuary, between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Halloween night.

Persons who wish to donate treats, or funds to purchase treats, may see a church member or leave donations at The News Herald by Wednesday, October 28.
