GENTRY — Martin-Cunningham to wed
Susan Cunningham and Alex Martin, both of Springdale, Ark., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Sandra and Louie Cunningham of Everton, Ark., and is a 1999 graduate of Bruno-Pyeatte High School.
The prospective groom is the son of Jo Ellen and Richard Martin of Gentry, Ark., and is a 2000 graduate of Gentry High School.
The wedding will take place on Oct. 31, 2009, at 1 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Gentry.
Rooney-Garside engaged
Lori Garside of Gentry and Bryan Rooney of Guy have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter or Leonard and Lynn Garside of Gentry. She is a 2005 graduate of Gentry High School and attends the University of Central Arkansas on a track scholarship. She is to graduate in December and is finishing her degree work as an intern at Greenbrier High School. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha and helps lead worship at Fellowship Bible Church in Conway. In the summer, she works at Camp War Eagle in Rogers.
The prospective groom is the son of Daniel and Sherry Rooney of Guy. He is a 2004 graduate of Guy-Perkins High School. He will graduate from the University of Central Arkansas in May 2010. He is currently employed at Surgical Associates of Conway and interns at Ruth Doyle Middle School. He is a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church where he leads worship music. He also leads worship at Fellowship Bible Church in Conway. He does youth and camp ministry.
The wedding is set to take place at 3 p.m. Dec. 19, 2009, at the Greenbrier Church of the Nazarene, with a reception to follow at the church.
