— Kate Stidham called the October 12 meeting of the Maysville 4-H Club to order. Eight members and seven adults were present. Casey Ogle led the pledge to the flag of the United States. Brittany Crawley led the 4-H pledge. Casey Ogle read the roll call. Shyenne Fowler read the minutes and Jessica Crawley made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Casey Ogle made the second. Jessica Crawley read the treasurer’s report.

Because October is 4-H Promotion Month we made posters to hang up in local businesses. Poster design winners were Kate Stidham, C. J. Ogle and Shyenne Fowler. Each received a prize.

Michael Fowler described what he had done at the Udder Club at the recent county fair. Casey Ogle told us about handing out promotional stickers at the fair. Club members describing their awards at the fair were Jessica Crawley, Kate Stidham, Casey Ogle and Tabitha Crawley. Kate Stidham’s talk was about baby goats including single, double and triple births and the advantages and disadvantages of each.

New business was discussed and upcoming events were announced. Brittany Crawley made the motion to adjourn and Michael Fowler made the second.
