Fall Festival Is Scheduled At Grade School

— The annual Fall Festival at Glenn Duffy Elementary School will be a special event this Friday evening, October 30, at the school.

The Parent-Teacher Organization will also hold a chili supper during the festival hours from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The cost is only $4 for age 12 and older; $3 for children under age 12; and free for those age 4 and under with purchase by adults.

The festival is a fun “fund raiser” each October and replaces the former Halloween Carnival. Fun typegames and a costume contest are highlighted.

Activities will include everything from cake walk to bingo, face painting and many fun games including peanut pitch, dish toss, pop ring toss, football throw, duck pond, basketball, etc., etc. A silent auction is also scheduled.

There is no admission to the carnival. Tickets, 25 cents each, will be available for participating in the various games.

A costume contest, with prizes (no scary costumes, please) will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. and prizes will be awarded.
