— Clayton Taylor, Sr.

Clayton Daniel Taylor, Sr., 43, of Sulphur Springs, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born August 23, 1966, in Oahu, Hawaii, the son of Jack and Gladys Rotrammel Taylor.

Mr. Taylor was a 14-year veteran of the U. S. Navy and served in Operation Desert Storm.HeworkedforPeterson Industries/Simmons for 13 years, primarily as a dispatcher. He was preceded in death by his father, JackTaylor.

He married Ronda Johnson in Bentonville on May 5, 2006. She survives. Other survivors include three sons, C. J. Taylor, Sawyer Johnson and Brooks Johnson; five daughters, Casey Taylor, Nyle Taylor, Jillia Taylor, Billi Rhea Taylor and Victoria Johnson; his mother, Gladys Rotrammel Taylor of Gravette; two brothers, Mike Cordeiro of Gravette and James Taylor of Westville, OK; one sister, Jill Baldwin of Eufaula, OK, and one grandchild, Aubrea Reign Taylor.

Funeral services were held Tuesday,October27,at10a.m. at the Church of Christ with Glen Whitman officiating. Arrangements under direction ofWasson Funeral Home.

Ronald Johnson

Ronald James Johnson, 54, of Sulphur Springs, died Sunday, October 18, 2009, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born December 1, 1954, in Gladwyn, MI, the son of Bert and Ilah Minnie Johnson.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Siloam Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Johnson.

He married Mary Ellen Mullinax on August 14, 1984, in Grove, OK. She survives. Other survivors include three sons, Calvin Eugene Johnson and wife Mary of Prairie Grove, Shawn Allen Workman and Derek Scott Johnson, both of Sulphur Springs; four daughters, Tammy Adams, Natasha Johnson, Katrina Johnson and Sabrina Johnson, all of Sulphur Springs; three brothers, Kenneth Johnson and Melvin Johnson, both of California, and David Johnson; 11 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Thelma Hacker

Thelma Louise Hacker, 84, of Bentonville, formerly of Gravette, died October 24, 2009, at Innisfree Nursing Center in Rogers. She was born Jan. 14, 1925, in Ft. Smith, the daughter of Fred and Orpha Hart Reese.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hacker; a sister, Freda Johnson; and a son, David Hacker.

Survivors include three sons, Melvin Hacker of Bella Vista, Rev. Joseph Hacker of Lowell and Dean Hacker of Bentonville; one daughter, Maryland Salazar of Rogers; one brother, Fred Reese of Bella Vista; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are this Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m. at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Burial will be at Daniel Cemetery near Hiwasse.
