Hospital Tells Plans For Festival

— A Fall Festival including a free chili supper will be held Saturday afternoon, October 31, at the Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette.

Activities will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. when hospital staff members “will be dressed up and handing out candy for the little ones,” a spokesperson said.

The free chili supper will be served in the cafeteria.

“Donations will be accepted to be used in holiday food baskets and for the Christmas Angel Tree for Gravette families,” the announcement said. “All donations will be greatly appreciated.”Trunk or Treat At Methodist Church

“Trunk or Treat” is the theme for a safe trick-ortreat experience sponsored by Gravette United Methodist Church, Saturday, October 31, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Parents are invited to bring their children to the church parking lot, east of the church, for this free activity. There will be treats for all and everything is free.

Heavenly Harvest At Heritage Baptist

Heritage Baptist Church in Gravette will sponsor“Heavenly Harvest” Saturday, October 31, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the church located at 307 Fourth Avenue SE.

All children up to age 12 are invited to attend to enjoy games, candy and refreshments.

The city’s new million gallon water tank went on-line Tuesday morning. The Arkansas Health Department okayed the two samples taken last week and cleared the tank for operation.

Annual School Report

The Gravette School District Progress Report, published annually, appears in this issue of The News Herald.

The eight-page report provides assessment results of state Benchmark testing for district students in comparison with regional and state test scores.

The legal notice was prepared by Pat Hastings, Special Projects Coordinator for Gravette Schools, and is a report required annually for public information.
