— The Center will hold a “You CAN Make A Difference” food drive and raffle to benefit the Center. Donations are requested for nonperishable food items. Items donated will be placed in a grocery cart at the Center and raffle tickets will be available for a $1 donation. Drawing for the groceries will be Thursday, November 19, during the lunch hour at the Senior Center. You need not be present to win.

You CAN make someone’s holiday season a bit brighter by donating to this worthy cause. Drop your nonperishable donations off Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Everyone is invited to participate in the Center’s Walk Away the Pounds program each Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. This will be an ongoing activity at the Center.

The Senior Center offers limited transportation service to Seniors 60 years or older within the city limits for exercise or lunch on a daily basis. Call the Center on Thursday to sign up for shopping services Friday morning in Gravette. Meals and transportation are not free but low cost. Donations are very important in order to continuethis valuable service.

SENIOR CENTER MENU

Week of November 2 - 6 Lunch

Monday: Chicken tenders, oven browned potatoes, Normandy vegetables, wheat bread, pineapple tidbits.

Tuesday: Spaghetti & meat sauce, spinach, tossed green salad, French bread, hot spiced apples.

Wednesday: Pork roast w/gravy, mashed potatoes, buttered carrots, dinner roll, fruit cobbler.

Thursday: Chicken pot pie, cornbread, chunky fruit medley, sugar cookie.

Friday: Chicken enchilada bake, pinto beans, carrot & celery sticks, wheat bread, lemon pudding.

Meals are subject to change. Meals at Center served with choice of 2% milk, buttermilk, coffee, tea or orange juice. Diabetic desserts are available.
