Kit Kane Is Eagle

GRAVETTE — Kristopher (Kit) Kane, of Gravette, recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He is the son of Kelly and Marie Kane and a member of Boy Scout Troop 117 of Gravette.

Kit has been a Scout since joining as a Tiger Cub in second grade. He earned his Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts and joined Boy Scouts in the fifth grade.

He has been active in Scouts through the years, serving in various leadership positions in Scouts and enjoying many camping activities at Camp Orr, Cherokee Camp, Roaring River and other camping facilities.

For his Eagle Scout project Kit organized and led a group of Scouts and volunteers in installingadecorativefountainat CentennialCityParkinGravette and painting thecaboose.

Kit is active in football, basketball, track, FCA and culinary arts at Gravette High School. He is a senior in high school this year. He is also active in his church youth group at Heritage Baptist Church.
