— In recognition of National Senior Center Month, the Center will be having a different guest speaker each Wednesday at 11 a.m. Representative Mary Lou Slinkard will be the first speaker of the month and next Wednesday, September 9, speaker will be Janet Fuller with CareNetwork. Everyone is invited to attend.

Schwan's will be hosting a One Day Truckload Fundraiser to benefit the Billy V. Hall Senior Activity Center on Friday, October 2, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the parking lot of Teasley Drug.

Orders may be placed online as well by going to www.schwansfundraising.com and entering the fundraiser I.D. #24018. All online orders count toward the fundraiser. You can even purchase gift certificates online. Online orders will be filled and awaiting pick-up on the day of the fundraiser at Teasley Drug store parking lot. Be sure to stock up on all of your favorite items. The Center's profit is based on the total dollar amount of items sold the day of the event.

The Senior Center offers limited transportation service to Seniors 60 years or older within the city limits who are interested in coming to the Center for exercise or lunch onadailybasis.Theymayalso calltheCenteronThursdaytosign up for shopping services Friday morning in Gravette. The Billy V. Hall Senior Activity Center is operated by the Office of Human

Concern, Inc. in partnership with the Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Arkansas and is proudly supported by the Benton County United Way. The BVH Center serves Seniors with home delivered meals, hot noon meals at the Center, transportation for shopping, information and referrals, outreach and an annual Health Fair which is held in May.

Tuesday: Sweet & sour pork, fluffy white rice, Oriental vegetables, glazed carrots, wheat bread, tropical fruit.

Wednesday: Swiss steak w/tomatoes, black-eyed peas, turnip greens, dinner roll, banana pudding.

Thursday: Chicken & dumplings, mixed vegetables, sauerkraut, dinner roll, fruited gelatin.

Friday: Smoked sausage, seasoned pinto beans, Harvard beets, wheat bread, blackberry cobbler.

Meals are subject to change. Meals at Center served with choice of 2% milk, buttermilk, coffee, tea or orange juice. Diabetic desserts are available.
