Delinquent Property Sale Nets Nearly $500,000 In Revenue

— Twenty-two parcels of land in Benton County were purchased during the recent sale of tax delinquent properties conducted by Commissioner of Lands Mark Wilcox.

A total of $401,063.67 in revenue was collected for Benton County and state government. The county, cities and school districts benefit from the sale.

The original property owner has a 30-day redemption period to pay all taxes and costs and reclaim the property. The delinquent tax land sale is held once each year.
