GRAVETTE — Edna Hopkins of Sulphur Springs will be celebrating her 93rd birthday this Wednesday, September 9, and her daughter, Elaine Manildi, invites friends to drop in to wish her a happy birthday.
She is also mother of a son, Robert, now deceased. She has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Born in Nanicoa, Texas, she has lived in Sulphur Springs 24 years where she earned the affectionate title of "garage sale lady".
She realized her lifelong wish to visit Israel and is shown when she visited that country several years ago.
