Former Gentry player leader on Watts team

— For the 2009 high school football season, the quarterback for the Watt's Engineers is junior Dylan Edens.

Edens started playing football in Gentry, Ark., as their halfback.

When he moved to Watts, he didn't see much action.

However, in his sophomore year, Edens was given the privilege of playing the position of quarterback.

Last year Coach Kelly Husted was very impressed by the talent that Eden possessed.

Edens is the first in his family to play football, even though his enthusiasm for the game would suggest otherwise.

"It's just a passion I guess, I love the game," Edens said.

Edens's athletic abilities don't stop with football.

Edens is expecting good results this year.

"I have very high expectations for the team because we have worked so hard," Edens said.
