— Bonnie Maxine Ahrens, 77, of Anderson, Mo., died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, at Freeman Hospital East in Joplin, Mo.

She was born Jan. 17, 1932, in Colcord, Okla., to Henry W. Beck and Sarah Lula Foreman Beck. She married Charlie Bill Ahrens on April 14, 1950. She lived in McDonald County, Mo., since 1963, moving from Colorado. She enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Immanuel Assembly of God Church in Noel, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Bill Ahrens on Feb. 21, 1981; six sisters; and two brothers.

Survivors include three sons, Billy Ahrens and wife Patricia Ahrens of Goodman, Mo., Rex Ahrens of Noel and Ricky Ahrens of Anderson; eight grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Rita Taylor of Noel and Lola Clark of Neosho, Mo.

Funeral services were Sept. 14 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Mark Wholwend officiating. Burial followed at the Lanagan Cemetery in Lanagan, Mo.

Gracin James "Brownie" Brown

Gracin James "Brownie" Brown, 41 of Jay, Okla., died Sept. 12, 2009, at his home.

He was born Nov. 8, 1967, in Pryor, Okla., to Darrell Brown Jr. and Nancy Ballou Hesser. He married Alison Fergurson on Nov. 19, 2008, in Eureka Springs, Ark. He was member of New Jordan Baptist Church in Salina, Okla. He was a framer for La-Z-Boy in Siloam Springs, Ark., and liked to fish, hunt and play horseshoes.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy and Bill Hesser of Colcord, Okla.; his wife, of the home; a son, Dagan Williams; two brothers, Therin Brown of Jay, and Shawn and Shelly Brown of Jay; a sister, Ladonna Brown of Locust Grove, Okla.; and two stepbrothers, Kevin Hesser of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Shawn Hesser of Cushing, Okla.

Funeral services will be held at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Sept. 16, with Rick Pathkiller and Kevin Collins officiating. Burial will be held at Little Rock Cemetery near Locust Grove.

Arrangements were by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Penny W. Cox

Penny W. Cox, 51, of West Siloam Springs, Okla., died Sept. 11, 2009, at her home.

She was born Nov. 19, 1957, in Versailles, Mo., to Isabel Purdy and Harry Needy II.

She is survived by her mother, of Tipton, Mo., her husband Clinton Cox of the home; three sons, Bo Smith and wife Jamie of Siloam Springs, Ark., Brian Smith of Tipton, and Colt Cox of West Siloam Springs; two daughters, Jeannie Crockford and husband Robert of West Siloam Springs, and Stephanie Smith of California, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, H.W. Needy of Tipton, and Allen Needy of Centralia, Mo.; and two sisters, Lela Needy of California, Mo., and Loretta Purvis of Tipton.

Graveside services were held Sept. 15 at Bell Cemetery. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Caylee Danielle Delosie

Caylee Danielle Delosie, infant daughter of Kristen Delosie, was stillborn on Sept. 3, 2009, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs, Ark.

She is survived by her mother, of Gentry, Ark.; a brother, Christopher Campos of Gentry; maternal grandmother, Kary Delosie of Gentry; and maternal grandfather, Jim Corder of Gentry.

Graveside services were held Sept. 12 at Fairmount Cemetery, near Gentry, with Tim Estes officiating. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Jon Dale Dueker

Jon Dale Dueker, 61, of Sulphur Springs, Ark., died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, at Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, Ark.

He was born Feb. 27, 1948, in Topeka, Kan., to Alton Edward Dueker and Joy LajeanWoodworth Dueker. In 1963, he moved with his family to Goodman, Mo. He graduated from Neosho (Mo.) High School in May 1967.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during theVietnam War. After being honorably discharged, he lived in Sulphur Springs. He worked as a truck driver throughout his life. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Kris Dueker and Jodie Dueker of Camp Lejeune, N.C., and Kevin Dueker of Sedalia, Mo.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Don Dueker and Peggy Dueker of Goodman, Mo., Steve "Pete" Dueker and Joy Dueker of Gentry, Ark., and David Dueker and Linda Dueker of Lanagan, Mo.; a sister and brother-in-law, Tina Bryant and Clayton Bryant of Goodman.

Graveside funeral services with full military honors will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse, Ark., with George Frye officiating.

Arrangements were by Noel Chapel of Ozark Funeral Homes in Noel, Mo.

Rosemary Ann Johnson

Rosemary Ann Johnson, 68, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 27, 1941, in Newcomerstown, Ohio, to Frank Warner and Beulah Durbin Warner. She was a fabric clerk at La-Z-Boy in Siloam Springs and was a homemaker. She married Bill Johnson on June 30, 1990. She enjoyed flea markets and reading.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Jim Tonsing of Bartlesville, Okla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Julie Brown and Patrick Brown of Bentonville, Ark.; a stepdaughter, Iris O'Leary and her husband Dwayne O'Leary of Colcord, Okla.; a stepson, Billy Johnson and his wife Patty Jo Johnson of Southwest City, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were Sept. 10 at the Fairmount Cemetery near Gentry with Will Gardner officiating. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Marty Eugene Reece

Marty Eugene Reece, 32, of Noel, Mo., died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009.

He was born Nov. 11, 1976, in Gravette, Ark., to Ted Leon Reece and Patty Ann Porter Reece. He graduated from Jay (Okla.) High School. He served in the U.S. Army for four years, serving during Operation Desert Storm. He was employed by West and West Solutions of Anderson, Mo., traveling around the United States building tanks. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, camping and golf.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patty Reece; a brother, Richard Reece Sr.; and his grandparents, Sherman and Zenoma Reece, and Les and Anne Porter.

Survivors include a son, Wyatt James Reece of Noel; his father and stepmother, Ted Reece Sr. and Ginger Reece; five brothers and two sisters-in-law, Teddy Reece Jr. and Saundra Reece, and Robbie Reece and Karla Reece, all of Southwest City, Mo., and Nickolas Reece, Trevor Reece and Codie Reece, all of Jay, Okla.; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Pam Reece of Siloam Springs, Ark., Sherry Montgomery and Jim Montgomery of Table Rock, Mo., Tammy Cantrell and Johnathan Cantrell of Southwest City and Jeanne Hernandez of Jay.

Funeral services were Sept. 12 at the First Baptist Church with Benny Lukens and Darren Robbins officiating. Burial was at the Southwest City Cemetery. Full military rites were conducted by Pineville/Jane (Mo.) American Legion Post 392. Arrangements were by Walker-Dowd Funeral Home of Anderson, Mo.
