DECATUR — DECATUR - Vandals slashed tires on 12 vehicles along Jerry Street and Valley Street during the early hours of Friday morning, causing more than $1,700 in damage.

Some of the tires that were destroyed were valued at up to $300. One household had one tire on all four of its vehicles slashed.

The Decatur Police Department has interviewed several suspects, including one juvenile, and the case is still under investigation.
