— Regina Keith's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Logan, have spent some time visiting Larry and Regina this week.

What's with the curve on Hwy. 279 N. near Persimmon Lane? Even the official cars can't stay out of the ditch out there anymore.

Amber Cox has spent some time in the hospital this week.

Karen Burns met her former college friend, Kim Allen, for lunch at Applebee's this week.

Penny Cullipher was transported to the hospital by ambulance on Friday where she was treated and released.

Those having lunch with me on Sunday were Mr.

and Mrs. Ward Carrier, Mr.

and Mrs. Brian Carrier, DaleLynn Carrier and Lamarise Carrier.

Kammie Weihe and her son have been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Weihe.

The singing group, The Moneys, sang at the Nazarene Church Saturday nightand Sunday morning. They enjoyed a potluck dinner after church on Sunday.

Zena Weihe is not feeling well. Hope it is not the flu.

Last Sunday Robert and Geneva Hamilton met Robert's sister in Johnson for lunch and then visited a cousin in the Fayetteville hospital.

Saturday Geneva Hamilton took her granddaughter, Reese, birthday shopping and for lunch at McDonald's.

Kolton Hamilton has been home from school with the flu.

On Friday Mary Holloway, Geneva Hamilton, Donna Shaffer, Anita Wiese and Peggy Olson went to eat and enjoy a movie to celebrate the birthdays of Mary, Geneva and Donna.

This week has been cool and rainy but what do you expect? It was fair week.

Congratulations to all our fair winners.

49er is quite a bit better this week. He is eating. His arthritis seems to be bothering him.

September 23, 1642, Harvard College held its first commencement.

REMAY Will Meet At Maysville

The regular meeting of REMAY (Restoration of Maysville) will be held next Monday, September 28, at the Maysville Community Building.
