— Morris and Linda Jackson will celebrate their 50th anniversary September 27 when they will be honored at a reception at the Hiwasse First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

Friends and family are invited to drop in between the hours of two and four p.m.

The Jacksons were married September 27, 1959, in Brookville, FL, and moved to the Gravette area in 1978. They presently live in Hiwasse.

Morris, who is retired, was store manager atO'Reilly Automotive in Noel and parts manager at Decatur Ag & Auto. Linda has been a homemaker during their 50 years together.

They are parents of three children, Rodney Jackson and wife Mary of Siloam Springs, Christie McCaffrey and husband Jeff of Gravette and Lori Puckett and husband Wes of Bella Vista. They have six grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

Williams To Celebrate Ninetieth Birthday

Jeweldine Williams will celebrate her 90th birthday Saturday, Oct. 3, with an open house from 3 to 5 p.m. at Victory Baptist Family Life Center, 1120 E.

Main St., Gentry.

Friends, acquaintances and family members are invited to drop in and help her celebrate the special day.

Anderson Will Speak At Genealogical Meet

The Northwest Ark a n s a s G e n e a l o g i c a l Society will meet Monday, September 28, at 6 p.m. at the Bentonville Public Librar y. The public is welcome to attend.

Dr. Cary Anderson will give a program on theCherokee Trail of Tears emphasizing the John Benge detachment. He will present his ideas and conclusions as to the route used by this party as they traveled east to west across central Benton County in early January, 1839.

Quilt Class Will Meet This Saturday, September 26

A free quilt and craft class willbeheldthisSaturday,Sept.

26, at the Gravette Church of Christ. The class begins at 1 p.m.inthechurchannex.Anyone interested is welcome.

Instructions for a new quilt block and a craft will be given and refreshments will be served. "Please bring a snack to share, needlework or crafts for show and tell and come join us for an afternoon of fun and learning," said a class spokesperson.

Mary Loveless Will Celebrate 95 Years

Mary Loveless, former resident of Sulphur Springs, will celebrate her 95th birthday September 27 in Paige, Texas, where shemakes her home.

She is honored at a reception at Ridgeway Baptist Church, hosted by her family and friends.

DAV Mobile Service Office Will Be In Rogers This Week End

The Disabled American Veterans' mobile service office will be at the Pig Trail Harley-Davidson store in Rogers Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26.

The service will provide information to veterans about their benefits andservices earned including many changes that have taken place in laws.
