— A Grand "Reopening" of the Gravette Public Library will be held this Saturday, September 26, at the library located on Charlotte Street S.E. just east of the Civic Center.

The library has been closed for more than a month during refurbishing and redecorating and the open house, which will start at 9 a.m., will give library patrons and citizens an opportunity to view theimprovements.

Kim Gibson, library manager, said, "Many new and exciting changes have been accomplished" including new windows, some new ceilings and redecorating.

An inventory of books was also completed during the closed period.

"We will have some local authors on site for book signings," Gibson said, and "a 2010 census informational booth with representatives present who have worked on this project will provide information. We will also be holding a used book sale, for only 25 cent donations per item."

The open house will continue until 2 p.m. "Refreshments will be served and we would love for everyone to come and join us for a fun filled day," Gibson added.
