49er and Tippy both made their annual trip to the fire station last Monday afternoon and received their rabies shots. There was a good turnout at the clinic. Thank you, Dr. Harris and Angie, for making it more convenient for us.

Northwest Arkansas Community Church reported a good turnout for their Easter Egg Hunt. They served 250 hot dogs and hamburgers.

Those enjoying lunch with Ward and Paula Carrier on Sunday included Brian and Diane Carrier, Lofty and DaleLynn Carrier, Amy Brooks, Lamarise Carrier and myself.

Billy Habermehl remains a patient at the VA Hospital in Little Rock and is reported to be recovering nicely.

Maxine Holloway is spending a few days in Garfield visiting her daughter Carolyn Taylor and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier and Lamarise and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Henry had supper with Donnely Swatzell and family in Bella Vista Sunday evening.

Ruth Sooter Emmanuel, a former Hiwasse girl, passed away this week. The funeral will be Thursday at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, OK.

Marlo Hamilton has spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton. Robert Paul and Amanda and children joined them on Saturday night for supper. Amanda and children and Dean Fletcher had Sunday lunch with them and enjoyed an Easter egg hunt.

Lisa and Autumn Gregg, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Carver and Jake had dinner with Novella Carlton on Sunday.
