OCH Health Fair Set For April 17

Ozarks Community Hospital of Gravette will hold a free Health and Safety Fair Saturday, April 17, at the hospital.

Activities will be held starting at 10 a.m. and continuing until 1 p.m. with health and safety booths, free giveaways and a light lunch.

There will be many free screenings available including blood pressure, pulse oximetry, blood sugar, to name a few. Colon testing kits will be available as will hospice and Schmieding Center information. An “Ask a Pharmacist” booth will operate and there will be information on nutrition,physical fitness and massages.

A special “kids area” will involve the Gravette Fire Department “smoke house”, ambulance and police car tours, face painting, crafts, height and weight checks, child ID kits, scoliosis checks and even a visit from Mc-Gruff the Crime Dog.

There will be other surprises and activities and everyone in the area is invited to attend this free event, said Jayna Cardetti, Communications Coordinator at OCH.
