Senior Center Baked Spud Fund Raiser Is Scheduled

Billy V. Hall Senior Activity Center will host a “Baked Potato Supper” Friday, April 16, at the Center located on Lime Kiln Road.

The baked potato and toppings meal will include dessert and beverage with serving to begin at 5:30 p.m. Takeouts are available.

The cost is $6. Tickets are available or may be purchased at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Center’s “Meals on Wheels” program.

Area Cities Receive Sales Tax Receipts

Area cities’ sales tax receipts for the month of February as reported in the March issue of “City and Town”, the magazine of the Arkansas Municipal League, include the following amounts. The first figure is local sales tax receipts; the second, each city’s share of the county one-cent sales tax.

Gravette: $56,191; $34,063.

Sulphur: $1,464; $12,080.

Decatur: $7,127; $23,657.

Gentry: $46,911; $43,858.

PeaRidge:$24,495;$42,237.
