GRAVETTE — Glenn Duffy Elementary PAWS (”Pawsitive” and Wise) Students of the Month for April are:

Logan Ellis of Gravette, Jayden Fletcher of Gravette, Andrew Tomlin of Bella Vista, Johnny Dunfee of Gravette, Padee Yang ofMaysville and Hanna Harris of Gravette.

“The PAWS Program incorporates character education into the school community. Each month a PAWS skill is chosen and discussed in classroom guidance in relation to character education. Thecharacter word for April is determination. This is an important trait to have as we approach the end of the school year. Never, never give up!,” said Zane Vanderpool, Principal.

PAWS awards are given in the classroom, hallway, cafeteria, etc. as an incentivefor students to practice the PAWS skill for the month. Students are recognized at Rise & Shine assemblies, Vanderpool explained.

PAWS Student of the Month t-shirts are sponsored by the Glenn Duffy Elementary PTO.
