This came in too late for last week’s news. After attending Easter sunrise services at the Baptist Church in Hiwasse, several went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Smith for Easter lunch. Those attending lunch were their daughter Trish Smith from Fayetteville, their son Trey, his fiancee Kim Zacary and JoAnna from Gravette, David and Terry Pruitt and Justin from Gravette, Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Graves, Ty, Hannah and Haley from Gravette, Bertina Freeman from Rogers, Margaret and Johnny Cowgur from Bentonville and Fred and Linda Bunch from Hiwasse.

Billy Habermehl is home recovering from surgery.

Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier and I enjoyed lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier and Lamarise on Sunday.

There are several sick ones in our area, Ruby Hight, Larry Keith, Imalee Hendrix and possibly others I don’t know about. We wish them all a speedy recovery.

A large crowd attended the Davis Family Reunion held at the Hiwasse Community Center on Saturday.

Robert and Geneva Hamilton went to Claremore, OK, on Friday and had lunch with Robert’s aunt to help celebrate her 90th birthday. They visited in Sapulpa with Lane and Claudine Sooter Hammack, spent the night in Tulsa with Robert’s sister, then attended the Tulsa Gun Show on Saturday before returning home Saturday.

Kay Hunter from Dardanelle, AR, spent the weekend with Novella Carlton.

Autumn Gregg showed her sheep this weekend. She won first place and Jr. showmanship awards. She also celebrated her twelfth birthday at the show.
