GRAVETTE — Ozarks Community Hospital of Gravette will hold a free Health and Safety Fair this Saturday, April 17, at the hospital.

Activities will be held starting at 10 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m. with health and safety booths, free giveaways and a light lunch.

There will be many free screenings available including blood pressure, pulse oximetry and blood sugar to name a few. Colon testing kits will be available, as will hospice and Schmieding Center information. An “Ask a Pharmacist” booth will operate and there will be information on nutrition, physical fitness and massages.

A special “kids area” will involve the Gravette Fire Department “smoke house”, ambulance and police car tours, face painting, crafts, height and weight checks, child ID kits, Scoliosis checks and even a visit from McGruff the Crime Dog.

There will be other surprises and activities and everyone in the area is invited to attend this free event, said Jayna Cardetti, Communications Coordinator at OCH. If you have questions, etc., call her at 479-344-6464.
