Posey, Rotramel to wed

— William Posey of Lowell, Mass., and Carol Posey of Memphis, Tenn., announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Carey, to the Rev. Mark Rotramel.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Leonard of Memphis and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carey Posey of Arcadia, La. The bride-elect earned her bachelor’s degree in Christian Education and Ministry from Wheaton College, where she served in the Office of Multi-Cultural Development, weekend worship, chapel choir, student government, and was a Big Sister to the freshman class. In her junior year, she graduated from Focus Leadership Institute in Colorado Springs, Colo. She received her master’s degree in counseling from John Brown University and is a therapist at Ozark Guidance Center.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Rotramel of Siloam Springs. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Farmer of Gentry, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Rotramel of Siloam Springs.

He is a graduate of John Brown University where he received his bachelor of arts degree in Biblical Studies. He is the pastor at First Pentecostal Church of Springtown.

The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. on April 17, at First Pentecostal Church of Springtown with Larry Petton of Tontitown, officiating. A reception will be held following the ceremony at the Community Building in Siloam Springs.

After a wedding trip, the couple will make their home in Siloam Springs.
