Bobby Jewell Buck

Bobby Jewell Buck, 76, of Watts, Okla., died April 10, 2010, at Northwest Medical Center, Springdale.

He was born Jan. 31, 1934, in Adair County, Okla., to Jewell and Lola Leroy Buck. He lived most of his life in Watts, and for a time lived in Gentry. He was a truck driver for Peterson Industries. He married Christine Jones on June 6, 1957. He was a member of Stilwell Seventh-day Adventist Church in Stilwell, Okla.

He was preceded in death by a son, Clayton.

He is survived by his wife of the home; a daughter, Edith Pritchett; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronnie Buck of Westville, Okla., and Gerald Buck of Pea Ridge; and a sister, Della Crittenden of Muskogee, Okla.

Funeral services will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Ivan Lee Lewis

Ivan Lee Lewis, 67 of Siloam Springs, died April 7, 2010, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs.

He was born Aug. 15, 1942, in Omaha, Neb., to Samuel and Irene Upthegrove Lewis. He married Wilma Mouse in 1963. He was a veteran of the Arkansas National Guard and of the Methodist faith. He was a former employee of Allen’s Canning Co. in Siloam Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

He is survived by three sons, Jeffery Lewis and Kenneth Lewis, both of Siloam Springs, and Samuel Lewis of Kansas, Okla.; two daughters, Jessica Lee of Ballard, Okla., and Lizabeth Lewis of Siloam Springs; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchilren; three brothers, Sam Lewis of Omaha, Neb., and Robert Lewis and Floyd Lewis, both of Rogers.

A graveside service was held at Fairmount Cemetery in Gentry on April 10, with the Levert Andrews officiating.

Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs was in charge of arrangements.

Bennie Ray Crowley

Bennie Ray Crowley, 39, of Joplin, Mo., died April 6, 2010, at Meadows Care Center in Joplin.

He was born June 13, 1970, in Gravette, to Donald and Linda Philpott Crowley. He was an order filler for Wal-Mart.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by two daughters, Brittany Crowley of Gravette, and Hayley Martin of Siloam Springs; a son, Dalton Young of Oklahoma; five brothers, John Tucker of Gravette, Toby Crowley of Sulphur Springs, Ronnie Crowley, Ricky Crowley and Randy Crowley, all of Wichita, Kan.; and a sister, Lisa Jones of Gravette.

The Funeral was April 9, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs with Lonnie Witt officiating.

Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Patricia Francine McElhany Duffy

Patricia Francine McElhany Duffy, 51, of Rogers, diedApril 6, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

She was born Jan. 7, 1959, in Tulsa, Okla., to Ralph and Curly Farmer DeVault. She married Robert Duffy on July 27, 2001, in Avoca. She worked for Beverly Health Care and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, David Farmer; and a sister, Raphella DeVault.

She is survived by her husband of the home; two sons, TJ Martin of Lawton, Okla., and Marcus Duffy of Decatur; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy DeVault of Rogers, and Linda DeVault of Georgia.

A graveside service was held April 10, at Baptist Mission Cemetery near Westville, Okla., with Pamela Cicioni officiating.

Memorials can be made to the Patty Duffy Fund at Arvest Bank or to the American Cancer Society.

Ginger Green

Ginger Green, 63, of Colcord, Okla., died April 7, 2010, at the home of her daughter in Tahlequah, Okla.

She was born Sept. 16, 1946, in Tulsa, Okla., to John Potter and Nina Hendren Potter. She was a former resident of Bartlesville, Okla. She was a private-duty licenced practical nurse.

Survivors include one daughter, Angela Glass of Tahlequah; two sons, John Green of Tulsa, and Kenneth Green of Joplin, Mo.; eight grandchildren; one brother, J.L. Glenn of Bartlesville; and one sister, Jouquila Hastings of Sand Springs, Okla.

Funeral services were April 12 at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with John Glass and Larry Hendren officiating.

Burial followed at Row Cemetery, Colcord, Okla.

Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Doyle Robert Misener

Doyle Robert Misener, 69, of Springtown, died April 8, 2010, at the V.A. Medical Center in Fayetteville.

He was born May 22, 1940 in Siloam Springs to Joseph Fredrick and Mable Nicholson Misener. Misener was an Army veteran. He was involved in prison ministry as a chaplain for many years and had worked as a police officer. He also was a dispatcher with P.A.M.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Misener.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra (Tinder) Misener of the home; four sons, Jim Whitaker of Sperry, Okla., Rick Whitaker of Van Buren, Eddie Whitaker of Oklahoma, Ricky Pimentel of Tulsa, Okla.; five daughters, Rhonda Surber of Goshen, Ginny Merrihew of Tulsa, Gretchen Silva, Gennifer Chordas and Sarah Ponce all of Springdale; a brother, Charles Misener of Siloam Springs; 10 granddaughters, 15 grandsons, and 4 great-grandsons.

A memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 16, at the Springtown Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Paul Vunileva officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale.

William “Bill” Charles Parks

William “Bill” Charles Parks, 72, of Siloam Springs, died April 7, 2010, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

He was born Sept. 22, 1937, in Harrisburg, Ill., to Mr. and Mrs. William Parks. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the Air Force Reserve. He moved from California seven years ago, where he was an X-ray technician. He married Barbara Simpson on May 18, 1981, in Riverside, Calif. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Siloam Springs and the Pineville Coin Club of Pineville, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald Parks.

He is survived by his wife of the home; a son, William Parks and wife Gayle of Milwaukee, Wis.; three daughters, Deb Kaczkowski and husband Mike of Manitowoc, Wis., Jen Lowrance and husband Brent of Jackson, Wis., and Patty Ostrand and husband Dan of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Benny Parks and wife Lavee of Hemet, Calif.; and a sister, Pat Schneider and husband Joe of St. Louis, Mo.

A memorial service was held April 9 at Second Baptist Church in Siloam Springs with Harold Thorton officiating.

Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Cecil “Bryan” Sarratt

Cecil “Bryan” Sarratt, 47, of Gentry, died April 5, 2010, at his home.

He was born Sept. 27, 1962 in Fayetteville, to Cecil and Esther John Sarratt. He was a self-employed farmer and welder. He married Toni Fry on July 3, 1987, in Gentry.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Bo Sarratt and Ben Sarratt, both of Gentry; his mother of Gentry; a sister, Susan Rhodes of Fayetteville.; and a brother, Kyle Sarratt of Rogers.

A funeral was held April 8 at The Church of Christ in Gentry with Bruce Potter officiating. Burial followed at Gentry Cemetery in Gentry.

Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Sanford Jech

Sanford Jech, a beloved husband, father and papa, went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2010.

Sanford was born January 11, 1937, in Morrilton, AR. He grew up in Gentry, AR, and moved to Dallas in 1959. He was owner of G.A.S. A/C Service for 36 years and a faithful member ofCrossroads of Life A/G Church, formerly Memorial A/G, for 35 years. Sanford is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doneta; two sons, Stan and wife, Dori, and Clayton and wife Faith; five grandchildren, Clint and wife Wendy, Alaina Childres and husband Derrick, Christina, Emily and Andrew; four brothers, Dennis, Otto, Roy, and Carl;
