GRAVETTE — A pre-season meeting for vendors of the Gravette Farmers Market will be held Monday, May 10, at 4:30 p.m. at Gravette City Hall.
Allyson Ransom, who is coordinator of the market which held its first year of operation last year, said, “Current members and others interested are encouraged to come.”
Signing up for the 2010 season and filling out WIC participation renewal forms will be top on the agenda and “the procedures for a new voucher program to help seniors will also be explained,” Ransom said.
The market season will open in and near the pavilion in Old Town Park on Saturday, May 20.
More information about a “grand opening” for the Market will be announced in The News Herald in coming weeks.
